Remember making these as a kid? Using our crushed fruit vinegars, this recipe adds an extra burst of flavor to these childhood classics! These are not only delicious, but super fun to make. These are the perfect, quick little cookies to make for your next party, as a fun activity with your family, or just for a light treat for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups of Flour
  • ½ Cup of Almonds, chopped
  • 1 Cup of Oats
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • ¼ Cup of Kosterina Everyday EVOO
  • ½ Cup of Kosterina Strawberry Crushed Fruit Vinegar 
  • ½ Cup Maple Syrup
  • ¼ Cup Orange Juice
  • 1 Jar of Strawberry Jam, estimate to use about 2-3 tablespoons

Instructions

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Add all dry ingredients to a bowl (oats, flour, almonds, and cinnamon) and mix to combine.  Add in EVOO, Crushed Fruit Vinegar, Orange Juice, and Maple Syrup and mix  until well combined.

    On a parchment lined baking sheet, use a cookie scoop or spoon to form each cookie on the baking sheet. Should make about 12 cookies.

    Create a small dent in each cookie using the back of a ½ teaspoon measuring spoon.  Add a dollop of jam into each dent. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
