Ancient ingredient. Modern superpowers.
Our olive oil is cold pressed in small batches from a single blend of early harvest olives grown in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. Our EVOO has a high chlorophyll content making it rich in healthy polyphenols – the antioxidants that have been proven to have anti-inflammatory and heart and brain-aiding effects. In order to be deemed extra virgin, oil needs to have polyphenol content of 55 mg/kg. Kosterina EVOO always has polyphenol content of at least 400 mg/kg or more, as measured at the time of harvest.

Martha Stewart writes "One whiff and you almost imagine you're walking through the olive groves. Taste it and it's so fresh it almost burns the back of your throat, which is thanks in part to the more than 500 milligrams per kilogram of polyphenols that occur naturally in this olive oil. (Most olive oils have about 55 milligrams per kilogram.)"
MindBodyGreen says Kosterina has "the most robust taste" of any they've tried.
