Greek Turkey Meatballs & Homemade Tzatziki

These flavorful Greek Turkey Meatball Bowls are a wholesome, high-protein meal perfect for lunch or dinner- and they’re bursting with Mediterranean flavor. Featuring Harmony Mediterranean Spice Blend, these juicy turkey meatballs are paired with a refreshing cucumber feta salad, creamy homemade tzatziki, and your choice of rice or cauliflower rice for a balanced, delicious bowl.

Ingredients

Meatballs: 

  • 1 lb ground turkey 
  • ¼ large red onion, grated 
  • 1 egg 
  • 2 tbsp Kosterina Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Harmony Mediterranean Spice Blend
  • 1 tsp salt

Cucumber Feta Salad: 

  • 1/2 english cucumber, diced
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved  
  • 4 oz feta, diced
  • 3 tbsp parsley, chopped 
  • 2 tbsp Kosterina Original Olive Oil 
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp Harmony Mediterranean Spice Blend
  • 1 tsp salt 

Tzatziki: 

  • ½ cup finely grated cucumber
  • 1 cup whole milk greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Kosterina Green Goddess Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill 
  • ¼ tsp sea salt 

Bowls:

  • Rice or cauliflower rice for serving
  • Extra dill and parsley for garnish 

Instructions

    To a large bowl, add the ground turkey, grated onion, egg, Kosterina Garlic Olive Oil, breadcrumbs, Harmony spice blend, and salt. Mix until combined, then roll into meatballs.

    To a saucepan over medium heat, add an extra drizzle of Kosterina Garlic Olive Oil. Add the meatballs and cook for 7-8 minutes, searing on all sides, until cooked through.

    Make the tzatziki. To a medium bowl, add the cucumber, greek yogurt, Kosterina Green Goddess Olive Oil, lemon juice, dill, and sea salt. Mix well and set aside.

    Make the cucumber tomato feta salad by adding the cucumber, cherry tomatoes, feta, parsley, Kosterina Original Olive Oil, Harmony spice blend, vinegar, and salt to a bowl. Mix well.

    To assemble the bowls, scoop rice into a bowl and top with the feta salad, tzatziki, and meatballs. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and drizzle with more Kosterina Original Olive Oil for garnish.
