Skip the processed, store-bought version and try these Strawberry and Balsamic Uncrustables instead! Made with soft sourdough bread, fresh strawberries, and a drizzle of our Dark Chocolate Balsamic, this all-natural twist on the childhood classic is both fresh and indulgent. Lightly warmed in a pan with Everyday Olive Oil for a golden, crispy finish, they’re perfect for breakfast, school lunches, or a midday snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices soft sourdough bread 
  • 1 tbsp nut butter of your choice
  • 1 strawberry, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp Kosterina Dark Chocolate Balsamic 
  • 1 tsp Kosterina Everyday Olive Oil

Instructions

    Use a round cookie cutter to cut each slice of sourdough into a round.

    Spread the nut butter into a small circle inside each slice of sourdough. Top one slice with the strawberry and drizzle with Kosterina Dark Chocolate Balsamic. Top with the other slice.

    Use your fingers or a fork to gently crimp the two pieces of bread together, sealing them to form an “uncrustable.”

    To a pan over medium-low heat, add the Kosterina Original Olive Oil. Crisp the sandwich in the pan until lightly golden brown.
