Spicy Red Pepper Olive Oil

Ingredients

Yogurt Sauce: 

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano 
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Kosterina Spicy Red Pepper Olive Oil
  • ¼ tsp salt

Burgers:

  • 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
  • ¼ cup red onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp Kosterina Spicy Red Pepper Olive Oil 
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Gluten-free pita bread, halved  
  • Sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions for topping

    To make the yogurt sauce, add the Greek yogurt, feta, oregano, lemon juice, Kosterina Spicy Red Pepper Olive Oil, and salt to a small bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to eat.

    Preheat a cast iron skillet, grill pan, or grill. To a medium bowl, add the ground beef, red onion, Kosterina Spicy Red Pepper Olive Oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine, then shape into four burger patties. Grill the burgers for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, flipping halfway, until they reach desired doneness.

    To assemble the burgers, spread the yogurt sauce onto the pita, then top with the burgers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions.
