Dear Kosterina Family,
What do you know about manifestation? I was talking with a good friend who told me that many years ago she began “manifesting” by repeating a mantra over and over again each day. And apparently this allows her to dream up the things she wants and they eventually come to be. Seriously? She also keeps a vision board on Pinterest of the milestones she’s seeking in life.
So you just imagine all the things you want, think about them a couple of times a day and then all your hopes and dreams come true? While I’m still skeptical, I’m always up for trying something that has the potential for such a magical outcome. I was pointed to manifestation expert, Gabby Bernstein, and her book Super Attractor to learn more.
Here’s what I gathered: Manifestation is simply a mindset practice that encourages us to see opportunities we may not have noticed before. So often in our "always on" world, we're rushing from one task to the next without taking the time to visualize what our ideal outcome would be.
And the way we manifest is important too. Sit down and write down what you want in life – across family, health, career, spirituality, adventure, etc. Be as specific as possible about what your ideal outcome is until it begins to evoke the feeling you will have when it comes true. Now sit down to meditate and imagine that it’s already true. In case you need some guidance, I’ve been using this Manifestation Meditation which is free on YouTube.
According to Gabby Bernstein: "Feeling good must come first. And then, everything else will follow." While I'm still new to this practice, it's an interesting reminder that we have to take care of ourselves first, before we can attract our ideal scenarios into our lives.
Many of my manifestations are centered around Kosterina and where I’d like to take the company so that it can have the most impact on our community’s happiness and health. I’ll let you know if it’s working! Do you have experience with manifestation? What's your take on it? We'd love to hear your stories!
