Our favorite wellness podcasts

Dear Kosterina Family,

I’m really into podcasts lately.
 
Whether you travel to work by car, by train or by foot, podcasts are a great way to make dead commuting time productive, educational and actually enjoyable. I find they keep me motivated and on track. Because after listening to a doctor or nutritionist talk about the dangers of refined carbs, it makes me think twice about a croissant, a bagel or even oatmeal. And somehow I’m able to say no to in-office sweets more often. A few of my favorite wellness podcasts right now are:
 
Mind Body Green – Founder Jason Wachob interviews experts in health, nutrition, functional medicine, spirituality and fitness. I find it really inspires me to try new things, to eat healthy and focus on my well-being. It’s by far my favorite podcast of the week -- I look forward to it every Tuesday morning.
 
Bulletproof Radio with Dave Asprey – Dave Asprey is focused on biohacking and longevity on this podcast. He wants to live to be 180 and actually believes that that might be possible.  
 
The Doctor’s Farmacy – This podcast is brand new but it’s led by functional medicine doctor, Dr. Mark Hyman, whose book Eat Fat, Get Thin changed my life when I read it 6 months ago.
 
I listen to my podcasts at 1.5x speed which allows me to maximize the amount of content I can listen to it. Call me crazy but I kind of wish I could put all my IRL conversations on 1.5x. Do you find yourself wishing some people would just talk faster?
 
Oh, I also can’t recommend the new Apple AirPods enough. I never knew how much I needed them until I had them. The integration with iPhone is completely seamless – in that as soon as I pop them into my ears, they turn on and connect to my iphone instantly. With other Bluetooth headsets, I felt like I was constantly fumbling to connect or disconnect them.
