About this recipe:
The perfect treat, using our Kosterina Nuts, Cinnamon & Honey EVOO Dark Chocolate! Our decadent extra virgin olive oil dark chocolate pairs perfectly with the slight tartness of these dried dates, filled with a creamy nut butter.
- Cashew Butter
- Dried & Pitted Dates
- 1 Bar Kosterina Nuts, Cinnamon & Honey EVOO Dark Chocolate
- Flaky Sea Salt
- Open each dried date and carefully fill with cashew butter (about ½-1 tsp depending on date size)
- Place dates on a tray and place in freezer for 10-15 minutes
- Meanwhile, break or chop Kosterina Dark Chocolate into small pieces and melt in microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring between, until the chocolate has melted
- Take dates out of freezer and line tray with baking paper
- Coat each date with the melted chocolate and place back on lined tray
- Lightly sprinkle a small amount of flaky sea salt on top of each date
- Place tray into the fridge and let chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has set
