About this recipe:

The perfect treat, using our Kosterina Nuts, Cinnamon & Honey EVOO Dark Chocolate!  Our decadent extra virgin olive oil dark chocolate pairs perfectly with the slight tartness of these dried dates, filled with a creamy nut butter.

Ingredients

  • Cashew Butter
  • Dried & Pitted Dates
  • 1 Bar Kosterina Nuts, Cinnamon & Honey EVOO Dark Chocolate
  • Flaky Sea Salt

Directions

  • Open each dried date and carefully fill with cashew butter (about ½-1 tsp depending on date size)
  • Place dates on a tray and place in freezer for 10-15 minutes
  • Meanwhile, break or chop Kosterina Dark Chocolate into small pieces and melt in microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring between, until the chocolate has melted
  • Take dates out of freezer and line tray with baking paper
  • Coat each date with the melted chocolate and place back on lined tray
  • Lightly sprinkle a small amount of flaky sea salt on top of each date
  • Place tray into the fridge and let chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has set
